You can interrupt if they get off on a tangent.

An easy way to interrupt is to give lots of non-verbal clues when someone is talking.  Nodding, raising eyebrows, &quot;mmmhmm&quot;&#039;s, etc.

Then, when you want to change direction, they will subconsciously be waiting for your feedback.

Just my opinion though.  Excellent tips you provided as well.</description>
